Cook entered their tilt with Appling County on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Pirates. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since August 12th.

Cook's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Appling County, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4.
