Soccer Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Milton can now relate to. They fell just short of the River Ridge Knights by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Milton couldn't quite close it out.

Milton's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4. As for River Ridge, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

Milton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for River Ridge, they will face off against Sprayberry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. River Ridge's defense better be ready for this one: Sprayberry have averaged an impressive 3.9 goals per game this season.
