Basketball Recap: Johansen Vikings vs. Pacheco Panthers

Johansen was the 40-34 winner over Pacheco when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Johansen Vikings had to suffer through a 60-33 loss at the hands of the Pacheco Panthers. The Vikings' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, Johansen still got an impressive performance from Isis Bankston, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joy Ige, who earned seven points along with nine boards and six steals.

Pacheco was led to victory by Mary Tava and Ashley Jimenez. Tava had 15 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals, while Jimenez almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten steals.
