Basketball Recap: Dubois Christian Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

DuBois Christian hadn't done well against Calvary Christian Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. DuBois Christian managed a 26-21 victory over the Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors. For DuBois Christian, this counts as revenge for the 40-19 win Calvary Christian Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Calvary Christian Academy had strong showings from Olivia Mills, who posted eight points and 19 rebounds, and Bethany Suttles, who earned eight points and five steals. Mills is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

DuBois Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
