Basketball Recap: Littlerock Takes a Loss

Littlerock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Palmdale Falcons, falling 62-20. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-11 back in December of 2024.

Palmdale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamee Newsome led the charge by putting up 23 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Newsome has scored at least a third of Palmdale's points. Another player making a difference was Beatrice Harmon, who posted 20 points.

Littlerock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Palmdale, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.

Littlerock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-17 loss against Knight on the 3rd. Palmdale has also already played their next contest, a 51-26 defeat against Eastside on the 3rd.
