San Diego entered their tilt with Crawford on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Crawford Colts with points to spare, taking the game 56-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cavers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.

San Diego got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gianna Woodson out in front who went 10 of 20 en route to 22 points and four steals. Woodson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Nitzel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.

San Diego smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Crawford still got an impressive performance from Fatuma Abdi, who posted 19 points and four steals. That was a full 46.3% of Crawford's points, marking the third time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aisha Hassan, who had ten points and three steals.

San Diego's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Crawford, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

San Diego wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-47 loss against La Jolla on the 31st. Crawford has also already played their next game, a 61-18 defeat against Christian on the 31st.
