Basketball Recap: Carlisle Starts Season with Win Against Oak Ridge Military Academy + How To Watch

Carlisle had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 victory over the Oak Ridge Military Academy Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chiefs have posted since November 30, 2024.

Carlisle's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Redd, who went 10-for-19 to rack up 26 points. Another player making a difference was Josh Wingfield, who posted 20 points.

Oak Ridge Military Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Carlisle will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Blue Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. The game will give the Chiefs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
