The Red Lion Lions won the last time they faced the New Oxford Colonials, and things went their way on Friday too. Red Lion slipped by New Oxford 50-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Red Lion.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Red Lion to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reagan Smith, who scored 16 points along with six steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least 25% of Red Lion's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Carr, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and six assists.

Red Lion's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for New Oxford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Red Lion's road trip will continue as they head out to face Shippensburg at 9:55 a.m. on January 6th. As for New Oxford, they will face off against Dallastown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dallastown will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
