Soccer Recap: Coosa Takes a Loss

Coosa fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Armuchee on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Indians, falling 4-1. The defeat continues a trend for Coosa in their meetings with Armuchee: they've now lost three in a row.

Coosa's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Armuchee, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Meanwhile, Armuchee will challenge rival Dade County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Armuchee's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Dade County has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
