Softball Recap: Mead Takes a Loss

Mead lost against Fort Collins back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mavericks came up short against the Lambkins, falling 13-2. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mead saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoe Mowers, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Mead's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fort Collins, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Mead didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-1 win against Monarch on the 26th. As for Fort Collins, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 21-9 victory against Rocky Mountain on the 26th.
