Soccer Recap: Westlake Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Westlake duked it out with Douglas County on Monday. Westlake came up short against Douglas County, falling 6-1. Westlake were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Westlake and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Douglas County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6.

Westlake will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Paulding at 8:00 p.m. on April 17. As for Douglas County, they will face off against Newnan at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
