Volleyball Recap: Greeley West Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Greeley West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Windsor Wizards, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Greeley West was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Nadia Serrano and Jocelyn Zamora, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Mya Salazar and her 20 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Leading Windsor to victory were Jasmine White and Avery Smiley. White had three digs and two aces, while Smiley had 12 digs. Smiley has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Greeley West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Windsor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Greeley West has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Poudre on the 2nd. As for Windsor, after both having extra time off, they and Fort Collins will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
