Softball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Treynor Cardinals, falling 11-1. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in June of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Treynor, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3.

Carroll has already played their next match (against Carlisle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Treynor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-6 victory against Kuemper on the 28th.
