Halifax suffers 11th straight loss at home

The Halifax Wildcats suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They were beaten by Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy 78-25. Halifax was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-7.

Lily Crum and Ava Savage certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Crum scored six points along with six rebounds, while Savage scored seven points along with eight rebounds.

Halifax's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-12. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.0 points per game. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Halifax will head out on the road to challenge Juniata at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Juniata presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Halifax in Pennsylvania (Juniata is ranked 287th, while Halifax is ranked 675th). As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Line Mountain at 7:30 p.m.
