Soccer Recap: Augusta Christian Comes Up Short

Augusta Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Alleluia Community Angels, falling 7-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Alleluia Community this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in February.

Augusta Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Alleluia Community, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Augusta Christian and Alleluia Community will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Lions see the pitch they'll take on Cardinal Newman at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th. As for Alleluia Community, their break will end when they face Hills Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
