After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Norman, Mooresville was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the South Iredell Vikings 73-47. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 26 points or more this season.

Mooresville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryson Demby out in front who went 6-for-13 on his way to 16 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Dylan Clark, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Mooresville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Mooresville's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for South Iredell, they dropped their record down to 4-21 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mooresville and Hickory Ridge will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. One thing working in Hickory Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups. South Iredell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
