Baseball Recap: Walker Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walker can now relate to. They came up short against the Wesleyan Wolves on Thursday, falling 7-1. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Jackson Ramon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Walker saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Fallmann, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Wesleyan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Walker nor Wesleyan have any future games scheduled.
