With a playoff win on the line, Mars rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 44-23 margin over the Shaler Area Titans. The Fightin' Planets haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Mars' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mya Moore led the charge by putting up seven points in addition to ten boards and four steals. That's the most rebounds Moore has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Cashdollar, who scored 11 points along with six assists and four steals.

Mars pushed their record up to 14-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Shaler Area, their loss dropped their record down to 20-3.

Looking ahead, Mars will take on Bethel Park on Wednesday. Bethel Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season. Shaler Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
