Baseball Recap: Southwest Takes a Loss

Southwest made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pierce City, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Trojans fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Pierce City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-11.

As of now, neither Southwest nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
