Softball Recap: Air Academy Has No Trouble Against Pueblo East

Air Academy won the last time they faced Pueblo East and things went their way on Friday too. The Kadets put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 17-7 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kadets.

Air Academy got a massive performance out of Alex Finkle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiera Finkle, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Air Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pueblo East only posted a batting average of .333.

Air Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pueblo East, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Air Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Fountain-Fort Carson at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pueblo East, they will challenge Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
