Softball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

If Sheldon was riding high fresh off their 14-7 takedown of Central Lyon on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Orabs came up short against the West Lyon Wildcats on Monday, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on June 9th.

Sheldon's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for West Lyon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-1.

Sheldon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-2 defeat against Trinity Christian on the 1st. As for West Lyon, they have also already played their next game, a 10-8 victory against Akron-Westfield on the 1st.
