Basketball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison's tournament run continued when they took on Redwood on Friday. The Edison Tigers received a blow as they fell 40-25 to the Redwood Rangers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Edison lost, don't look at Jamiya McCoy. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave McCoy a new career-high.

Edison now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Redwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 43-31 defeat against Liberty on the 21st. As for Redwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-33 loss against Dinuba on the 21st.
