Basketball Recap: Pine Forge Academy Takes a Loss

Pine Forge Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Kohelet Yeshiva 39-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kohelet Yeshiva to victory, but perhaps none more so than Meytal Benjamini, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tye Halpern, who earned ten points.

Pine Forge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kohelet Yeshiva, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Forge Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Girard College at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kohelet Yeshiva, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Cristo Rey Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
