Soccer Game Preview: Cherokee vs. Discovery

The Cherokee Warriors will square off against the Discovery Titans at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cherokee's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Cherokee took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Wheeler, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Cherokee beat Wheeler by a goal, winning 3-2. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Discovery was not quite Collins Hill's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Discovery's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cherokee, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
