Waverly Central strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Houston County Fighting Irish 42-6. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Houston County still got an impressive performance from Preston Mitchell, who picked up 59 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 82 yards. Mitchell was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 60 yards.
