Soccer Game Preview: Dublin vs. San Ramon Valley

Dublin is 0-7-2 against San Ramon Valley since January of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Gaels will be playing in front of their home fans against Wolves at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Dublin came up short against Granada on Tuesday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Dublin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Granada are ranked 115th).

Meanwhile, San Ramon Valley kept a clean sheet against Foothill on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Falcons 1-0. San Ramon Valley haven't had any issues with Foothill recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

San Ramon Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-2. As for Dublin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1.
