With a playoff win on the line, Warner rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Pawhuska Huskies. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Ella Labounty made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Labounty was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tallon Ashmore, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one double. Paisley LaBounty was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Warner's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Pawhuska, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-9.

Warner will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair will be back at it again later today.
