Basketball Recap: College Prep Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the College Prep Cougars were beaten by the Berean Christian Eagles 56-26. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lulu S was College Prep's leading scorer, having posted eight points.

It was another big night for Jadee Salvador, who went 14 for 29 on her way to 33 points along with eight rebounds and six steals for Berean Christian. The contest was Salvador's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jianna Cayanan, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine steals.

College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Berean Christian, their record now sits at 6-10.

College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-21 win against Drew on the 27th. As for Berean Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-27 defeat against Alhambra on the 24th.
