Softball Recap: Apalachee Comes Up Short

Apalachee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Loganville Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 7-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Apalachee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Rudell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Rudell has brought in this season.

Apalachee's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Loganville, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Apalachee has already played their next contest, a 10-7 win against Oconee County on the 10th. As for Loganville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Habersham Central on the 10th.
