Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was the 48-32 winner over Santana when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Madison Warhawks fell 37-27 to the Santana Sultans on Saturday. The Warhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Santana to victory were Harper Diaz and Sam Mora. Diaz posted 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Mora had 16 points and eight boards. The contest was Mora's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lala Carreno, who earned six points.

Madison now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Santana, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.

Madison has already played their next game (against Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Santana has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Mount Miguel.
