A well-balanced attack led Schurr over San Gabriel in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Spartans blew the Matadors out of the water with a 55-14 final score. That looming 55-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.

When it comes to explaining why San Gabriel lost, don't look at Jahkai Lowe. Despite the final result, he picked up 122 receiving yards and two scores. Lowe's longest reception was for an incredible 88 yards.

The win got Schurr back to even at 3-3. As for San Gabriel, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
