Malcolm's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Auburn Bulldogs, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Clippers have posted against the Bulldogs since September 25, 2021.

Morgan Tiedeman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Parr, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Malcolm now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Auburn, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Malcolm has already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Aurora on the 22nd. As for Auburn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-3 loss against Crete on the 22nd.
