Cedar Vale/Dexter won the last time they faced Sedan and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans managed a 28-22 win over the Devils. The game was the first time the Spartans have beaten the Devils on their field since September 28, 2018.

Cedar Vale/Dexter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Criss out in front who threw for 221 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Royce Potter, who picked up 149 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Cedar Vale/Dexter's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sedan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Vale/Dexter will welcome West Elk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Sedan, they will host Northeast on Friday.
