Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Academy's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

If Mater Dei Catholic wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Victory Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Mai'Ana Norita. The Victory Christian Academy Knights came out on top against the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders by a score of 45-33 on Wednesday thanks in part to Norita, who shot 5-for-9 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Victory Christian Academy's points.

Despite the loss, Mater Dei Catholic still got an impressive performance from Promise Martin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. Martin is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least six every time she's taken the court this season. Otilia Sua was another key player, putting up three points and seven rebounds.
