Baseball Recap: Tuscola Comes Up Short

Tuscola couldn't beat St. Anthony on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Warriors fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 7-6. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for Tuscola and nudges their season record down to 7-9. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for St. Anthony, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscola will welcome St. Teresa at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Anthony, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Teutopolis at 4:30 p.m.
