Baseball Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-3 to the Harrison Hoyas, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Stephens County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Harrison, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Stephens County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Peachtree Ridge on the 28th. As for Harrison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-0 loss against North Oconee on the 28th.
