Football Recap: Morris Knolls Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Morris Knolls was the 27-26 winner over West Morris Central when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Eagles fell 41-31 to the Wolfpack on Saturday. Golden Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wolfpack since Saturday.

Despite the loss, Morris Knolls still got an impressive performance from Jaylin Jones, who rushed for 200 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries. Jones really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

Brody Mansolino was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 67 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Morris Knolls' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Morris Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Morris Knolls will head out to face off against Bridgewater-Raritan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Morris Central, they will be playing at home against Morristown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
