Softball Recap: Peach County Takes a Loss

If Peach County was feeling good fresh off their 12-0 takedown of Manchester on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Northside Patriots on Thursday, falling 15-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Peach County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-13 record this season. As for Northside, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 23-7.

Peach County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northside, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Pius X Catholic at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Patriots 3.4, the Golden Lions 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
