Basketball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

Chester has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Redding Christian Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Volcanoes have lost by exactly five points.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Redding Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.

Chester will welcome Burney at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Redding Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Red Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
