Softball Recap: Mangum Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Mangum challenged Lookeba-Sickles on Monday. The Tigers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mangum saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hallie Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple was Smith's first of the season.

Mangum's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lookeba-Sickles, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Mangum will square off against Shattuck at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lookeba-Sickles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
