Basketball Game Preview: Hill City Ringnecks vs. Phillipsburg Panthers

The Hill City Ringnecks will take on the Phillipsburg Panthers on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Hill City was able to grind out a solid victory over Oakley, taking the game 50-38.

Carson Keith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 of 14 on his way to 18 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Koby Keiswetter was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 12 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Phillipsburg). They walked away with a 67-55 win over Smith Center on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hill City's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Phillipsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Hill City came up short against Phillipsburg in their previous matchup back in January, falling 41-35. Can Hill City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
