Softball Game Preview: Ruskin Golden Eagles vs. Raytown Bluejays

Ruskin is 0-8 against Raytown since September of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bluejays at 4:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Ruskin fell victim to Truman and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 20-0.

Meanwhile, Raytown also failed to score in their most recent game. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to Grain Valley, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Raytown's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Ruskin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
