North Monterey County entered their matchup against Carmel on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The North Monterey County Condors fell just short of the Carmel Padres by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Condors couldn't quite close it out.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 12-3. As for Carmel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.
