Perry posted their closest win since October 7, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Alva Goldbugs 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Maroons as they're now sitting on three straight.

Perry's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Alva, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-9.

Looking ahead, Perry will host Crescent at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Maroons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Alva, they will face off against Enid at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
