Soccer Recap: Appling County Beats Toombs County for Their Third Straight Victory

After losing to Toombs County the last time they met, Appling County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Appling County Pirates had just enough and edged out the Toombs County Bulldogs 5-4. It was an even better day for Jonathon Pina as he scored three goals for his team.

The win was the third in a row for Appling County, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three contests. As for Toombs County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Appling County will head out on the road to challenge Crisp County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
