Softball Recap: North Iowa Comes Up Short

North Iowa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 14-9 to the Lake Mills Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 back in June.

North Iowa's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Lake Mills, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-16 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Iowa will square off against rival Eagle Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lake Mills is set to face off against their familiar foe Forest City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
