Soccer Recap: Elbert County Starts Season with Win Against Jefferson County

Elbert County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Jefferson County Warriors as the Elbert County Blue Devils made off with a 6-3 win. Daniel Ezqueda was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Elbert County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on White County at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for Jefferson County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Greene County on the 13th.
