Baseball Recap: Zanesville Extends Winning Streak to Four

Zanesville took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Dover, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Crimson Tornadoes 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Blue Devils, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Maddox Mohler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Zanesville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karter Burrell, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave Burrell a new career-high.

Zanesville's record now sits at 12-14. As for Dover, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

As of now, neither Zanesville nor the Crimson Tornadoes have any future games scheduled.
