After a string of five wins, Avenal's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Chowchilla Tribe and fell 56-11. The match marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Avenal's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Chowchilla, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Avenal will be home for the holidays to greet Alpaugh at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alpaugh has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Chowchilla, they will be taking part in a tournament against Washington Union at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Chowchilla is facing Washington Union at the right time seeing as Washington Union is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
