Volleyball Game Preview: Hanford Bullpups vs. Mission Oak Hawks + How To Watch

Hanford is 7-2 against Mission Oak since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. Hanford is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Wednesday, Hanford was able to grind out a solid win over Tulare Western, taking the game 3-1.

Hanford had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-15.

Hazel Agnew went supernova, getting 27 digs. Those 27 digs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniela Rodriguez, who had 11 assists and seven digs.

Meanwhile, Mission Oak beat Tulare Union 3-1 on Wednesday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Tribe recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (90-89) Mission Oak actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 14-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Hanford's record now sits at 17-11. As for Mission Oak, their record is now 8-17.

Hanford took their win against Mission Oak in their previous meeting on October 1st by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Bullpups have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
